2. Who offers one year support and updates at no extra cost?
Aurel Systems offers a standard 1 year support and update service. Updates are minor fixes and improvements that are released as needed. All process simulation software purchases qualify for one year free support. Typically, our support calls range from getting started issues, to advanced modeling techniques and process engineering questions.
Software upgrades (a major release of a new version of CADSIM Plus) are made available to you at a fraction of your original purchase price. Upgrades are priced according to the amount of new features added. Upgrades include a further 6 months of free support.
We accept telephone, fax and e-mail support requests. E-mail works best because you can attach your sample model, and we can return it with a solution. Often, clients send us a support request at the end of their day, and find a response when they return to work the next morning. There is also a growing volume of support info and downloadable updates located in the support area of this web site.
Many of our clients have been impressed by our typical 24 hour turn around on support questions - and the detail of our responses. And, they have told us. We believe that good support is something that you should expect.
