Who offers hands-on, project oriented, on-site training?
2. Can I train by working on projects that I provide during a course?
Absolutely! In fact, we request that you do. One training objective is that each participant in our on-site courses develops a working balance of a plant area which reflects his area of interest, by the end of a three day course. We also offer hourly web-based training (one-on-one with a live instructor) via the Internet, that is focused on modeling problem resolution and specific skill development.
While the user-content approach is a little more challenging for the instructor, we feel it is important that the participants end up with a process simulation model that they can continue to use. This ensures that the training is relevant, and that the skills that are acquired can be put to use immediately. People retain more this way.
Another benefit of this type of on-site training for groups of two or more participants, is that each student can be challenged by differing problems to solve. In this way, a wider pool of knowledge is obtained. Students often find that they can support each other more effectively, because they have some diversified experience to draw from.
