Who offers the most modern simulation technology?
6. What process simulator has no limits on the number of variables, components and animations that I can use in my model?
CADSIM Plus has no hard limits on the number of variables, components, animations and other parameters that you can use in your process simulation models. Unlike other process simulation products, CADSIM Plus dynamically allocates computer resources as required for your simulation model. This allows virtually unlimited model expansion.
Many older simulators use a programming language called FORTRAN. While FORTRAN was very popular in the 1970's and 80's for scientific and mathematical programming, it lacks some of the modern features that are found in C and C++ programming languages. FORTRAN programs have no way of allocating resources 'on the fly'. Developers who use FORTRAN must resort to 'guessing' how many of each type parameter that a user might ever need. And once the software is built, you're stuck with that limit!
You are probably saying to yourself, "How is this important to me? I'm sure that the developers have added enough storage to satisfy all my modeling requirements." Well, that might not necessarily be true. In almost 20 years that Aurel has been producing modeling software, we have seen the typical process model grow ten-fold in size! It is not unusual for our clients to link 4, 6 or even 10 or 12 E-size flowsheets together to produce a mill-wide balance.
Don't paint yourself into a corner. Choose CADSIM Plus.
